Back in March, Estrella Football Group and Club Atlético Central reached an agreement regarding a potential investment at an agreed valuation. However, the process towards finalising the transaction took longer than anticipated and, over time, some of the initial momentum was inevitably lost.

Following the club’s promotion to the Segunda RFEF, Club Atlético Central sought to revisit the terms that had previously been agreed. Estrella Football Group made every effort to find a mutually acceptable solution. Unfortunately, the parties were unable to reach common ground regarding the revised terms. For Estrella Football Group, honoring previously agreed principles and commitments is fundamental to the way we build partnerships. A difference in perspective ultimately prevented the transaction from moving forward.

None of this changes the respect we have for Club Atlético Central, its players, staff and supporters. We would like to thank the club for the constructive discussions and wish them every success in the future.
